Fastrack Platinum

ALTON TOWERS- SCAREFEST
I had a really fun weekend and Alton towers on saturday.
It was really busy because it was Halloween weekend so lots of people were in fancy dress which was pretty cool.
I love the rides,  i am defiantly a thrill seeker when it comes to rides... I am so spoiled to have been able to get a Fast track Platinum band which meant we didn't have to que up for any of the rides we just walked straight on.. which you would expect from the price of the ticket..
I think its definitely worth spending the extra money to avoid ques and you get to go on more rides over and over again!! :) LOVED IT!!

Loved Conference..

This weekend i was so excited to listen to conference, the older i get the more i seem to appreciate and understand the council i receive from Living day apostles and our Prophet..
I love the prophet Thomas S. Monson i really felt a strong confirmation that the church of Jesus christ is true and the announcement of new temples really filled my heart with a lot of joy and testified that i am lucky to have this true gospel in my life.
One of the important messages i received from conference was to really try hard at living a  Charitable life as 'Charity never faileth"

Charity suffereth long and is kind,
and envieth not, and is not puffed up,
seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked,
thinketh no evil, and rejoiceth not in iniquity
but rejoiceth in the truth, beareth all things,
hopeth all things, endureth all things.
(moroni 7:45)

I really loved Neil L. Andersons talk on families and multiplying and replenishing the earth... Where is your faith??.. I love this statement i really strive to walk by faith.
I also love the quotes from Thomas S. Monson about skimping and scraping and how it can bring you closer together.. sometimes i think we feel we have to have everything and neglect the fact that we need to start off with little and build up because that way we will be more grateful and respectful.
I loved L. Whitney Claytons talk on church growth and the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus christ. "Like a stone cut out of the mountains" SIMPLY REMARKABLE!
I also loved Boyd k. Packers talk especially the poem he opened up on about the young crow and old crow.

I really loved listening to all the sessions of conference and the wonderful inspiring talks it has really strengthened my testimony of the gospel and the importance of a celestial marriage, keeping covenants and seeking to become more like christ through faith, charity and repentance. I love that the gospel is based around the great plan of happiness.. (salvation)
I am truly blessed to know and be a member of the gospel of Jesus christ and i have a strong testimony that these things are true and i can receive the most happiness in my life through living by the principles that i am taught.

If you would like to know more about my religion or even listen to conference visit..

TOTO!!

I have never been an animal lover, my younger siblings have been going on and on to my parents about getting a dog and i was totally against the idea. My little sister would sit daily on the ipad looking at dogs and constantly asking for one.
I always tried to persuade my parents that it wasn't a good idea.. because i could see my mum starting to give in saying it would be good for the little ones especially Melissa.
Well a couple of weeks ago my mum said they were off to the animal centre to look at dogs to buy, in my head i thought yeah right she's just saying that to keep the little ones happy.
I made it clear i wasn't interested and getting a dog was a bad idea so i wouldn't join them in going to the animal centre.
They all came back saying they fell in love with this little dog and my mum said we pick it up next week.. I was so shocked that i continued to battle against the reasons along with my dad as to why we shouldn't have a dog LOL but the rest where all for it- They won! The day came to pick up little Scruffy. I decided i would go and see the little dog that i still didn't actually want to bring home.  We arrived and anxiously the dog got brought out, it jumped up at me and i stroked it, i am quite nervous when it comes to animals especially dogs as i remember one time i babysat for a ladies dogs when she went on holiday that was a Nightmare and put me off ever having dogs.. but thats a different story.
I am starting to turn.. this dog is so lovely so sweet natured, so loving, well trained its just so sweet. There is nothing quite like the feeling of getting in from work and the dog being so excited to see you and not to mention the early morning runs i have been doing so enjoyable! I love this little dog after only a week of having it.. i can see how people become really attached to there animals.

This is what our little dog scruffy looks like..  The dog off of the Wizard of Oz its the exact same colour and would actually pass as toto.. Cute hey!!

scruffys first bath.. lol
